CodeJam 2012

So,Most of good coders from CSE,CCE and CS in Egypt participated in Google Codejam ,No doubt it was an awesome experience to get into .

I’d passed the Quantification round with 60 point it was a bit tricky but yet easy to solve , Sadly didn’t pass through the rest of the Rounds. fairly 20 coder form Egypt qualified to round 2 .

I am sure I’ll work harder to get into round 2 next year isA, it wasn’t that hard i was not ready for it :( .

Our GSA in the campus made a session about codejam with the participation with ACM chapter in the department , today they gave us some awesome stuff :D I got a notebook !

This is me doing my usual talk , for the mean time i decided not to do this Facebook as usual or my old blog as it doesn’t fit.

I ###failed### to get into GSOC this year due to so many things that I do control and the other I don’t .

I was late , yub although i knew when i’ll end and when it’ll start , I didn’t take action . I had midterms over 2 weeks of midterms I didn’t have much time to write a proposal . I didn’t have enough experiance with the Opensource Community, I tried to get into Gnome Community before Zeitgeist to be precise they were helpfull espcialy this real helpfull dude Saif_Loutfy “He is Mr awesome and Fluffy”, but guess what I didn’t keep up thanks to annoying assignments and midterms .

So now what ?

I’d created a small group of some really helpful friends assuming we’re helping each other to get into GSOC next year we’d already targeted some communities to work with so Inshallah we’re getting into gsoc with some hard work.
